The new Kaspersky Lab student contest is dedicated to facing the rapidly changing world and tackling the security challenges posed by new technologies. We want participants of the Secur'IT Cup to suggest their own ideas of projects that help solve cybersecurity issues in the following areas:

Connected health

Develop security measures for existing gadgets, standards for the future development of new health-oriented wearable devices etc.

Protect users by improving security measures for IoT devices: security of smart homes, automotive devices etc.

Develop effective measures to improve user’s privacy and safety: prevent unauthorized access, cyberstalking etc.

Stage 1

Primary registration. Register online and select your idea application area

Stage 2

Closes 20 October 2018 Brief idea description: Describe your idea in 1000 characters, submit your video CV, wait for your application to be reviewed.

Stage 3

Closes 4 Novermber 2018 Submit detailed idea description and project prototype: add your team members if applicable. The expert jury will consider all projects and select the best for the finals.

Stage 4

29 - 30 November 2018 Finals: Take part in the final event at the Kaspersky Academic Partners Summit in Budapest where you will pitch your idea to a board of experts!
